Dr. Barbara A. Smith, ACC
Barbara is a professionally certified career and life coach with over twenty years’ experience. Barbara is quite accomplished in coaching, change theory, organizational transformation, leadership and professional development, systems theory, group dynamics, administration, mediation, and grief/loss/bereavement. She is also a professionally ordained minister and has served as a local church pastor, judicatory leader, hospice chaplain and is trained as a Healthy Congregations facilitator.
Barbara spent fifteen years in the legal field. During that time, she was successful in preparing cases for six figure policy limit settlements for both plaintiffs and insurance companies. Her education includes a Doctor of Ministry from New York Theological Seminary, a Certificate in Executive Leadership from McCormick Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Delaware Valley College. Prior to joining [email protected], Barbara received training through Auburn Theological Seminary’s Pastoral Coach Training program. She has been a guest lecturer at New York Theological Seminary, and has enjoyed working with men and women new to ministry and preparing for ministry.
